Scottish Cup Draw
We have been drawn at home against Blantyre Vics on the 31st of October. Blantyre Victoria Football Club are based in the town of Blantyre, South Lanarkshire. Nicknamed the Vics, they were formed in 1890 and play at Castle Park where their record attendance is 6,000. They currently compete in the West Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. They have won the Scottish Junior Cup on 3 occasions with the last time being in the 1981/82 season. Some famous former players include Billy McNeil, Joe Jordan and Jock Stein.

Ellon United have lost the services of two of the young players who were out on loan to them on temporary transfers from Buckie Thstle. Lewis Duguid and Scott Robison are both moving to Highland League side Rothes who are now back under the charge of Graeme McBeath. United wish the youngsters all the best in their new venture.
