Ellon won the ATR cup on Friday night! Despite losing an early goal Gary McNamara equalised only a few minutes later then Ellon had to pick themselves up again after falling behind for a 2nd time in the match. This time Ben Chapman scored the equaliser and the match was evenly poised at half time. In the 2nd half a surging run by Gary McNamara was synically haulted by David Greig and he was shown a red card for the challenge, Grant Noble stepped up to the spot kick and sent Keeper Sweeney the wrong way. To cap an emotional night Scott Clark lifted the trophy and queue the celebrations.
